As the "Champion of the Business Community," we address a broad spectrum of issues, from everyday business challenges to larger regional infrastructure and community matters. Our role encompasses supporting business opportunities, solving problems, and advocating for collective interests.

Operating as an independent, apolitical body, Business Port Pirie empowers its members to advance their interests, build profitable networks, and contribute to community prosperity. When critical issues arise, our strong lobbying power ensures a unified voice to local, state, and federal governments. With extensive business expertise, we also connect members with organizations that can resolve various challenges.

Over the next year, our primary goal is to expand our membership and enhance our visibility through active community involvement. We have recently revitalized our "Business Networking Nights," featuring high-caliber speakers, offering a valuable platform for business owners and managers to connect.

Our engagement extends to various sub-committees working on impactful projects such as the revitalization of CBD shops, upgrading the golf course, enhancing airport facilities, improving waste management, among others.

In terms of training, we maintain a strong partnership with Regional Development Australia, Yorke and Mid North, to promote relevant opportunities. Our regular newsletters keep members informed about our initiatives, special promotions, and member-to-member offers. We receive positive feedback on community initiatives like shop-local gift vouchers, Christmas shopfront displays, and special late-night shopping events.

Through these efforts, Business Port Pirie remains committed to supporting and advancing the interests of the local business community.
